Robert Spitzer is the man who's defined more mental disease than any other person living on the face of the earth. Now a professor who works out of a small office on the Upper West Side of New York, Spitzer is the creator of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual, the American Psychiatric Association's official listing of mental disease.
