The Case For Modesty
Nancy Gibbs' viewpoint in the Time magazine on the pros/cons of modesty was insightful. I will always remember Jane Austen's warning: nothing is more deceitful than the appearance of humility. It is often only carelessness of opinion, and sometimes an indirect boast. Thanks Nancy.
